Self-Medicate/Clomid

Hi All! I have an upcoming Doctor's Appt. for a physical on Aug. 10 2012. I am desperately TTC & would like to go online & order some fertility drugs. The thing is I'm becoming more & more impatient about having a baby because I am 36yrs. old. My husband is only 30! Is this a good idea or should I continue to just let my body waste away?

Hi Ginger077! Thanks for the comment! I didn't think anyone would really respond to my question. Kinda thought my question was a little silly! Just desperately wanna try 4 a little girl. Can my Ob-Gyn help me with my infertility problems or will he refer me 2 a Infertility Specialist?

You need to see your gyn doc for that. It is dangerous to take clomid or any other fertility drug without having been cleared by your doctor. If you were to have an ovarian cyst that month taking clomid could cause serious harm or loss of ovary. Doctors will not prescribe fertility drugs during those cycles for your safety.
Best of luck to you!
