taking Follistim how many follicles will produce?

I am 34 I've done the Clomid challenge, I have a high FSH 16, a blocked tube and endometreosis removed,I did a 2 or 3 rounds of clomid, 1 round of Letrozol with IUI no success, and now I'm taking Follistim. I went in fro 2nd ultra sound and only one follicle at 15. I go in again on Fri. for another US. how many follicles should I have? Is it possible I will get pg? They let me know status on Fri. and when to scd. IUI. I'm just wondering are my chances pretty low?? THIS IS SOOOOO HARD

I'm curious how your two weeks wait went?

I'm 43 and finished my first round of Follistim and I am now on my two week wait. I had 5 mature follies and a few more that were borderline, so I know I had at least five. How many follies did you have.

Hi, I've finished with the follisum challenge on Nov. 23, and produced great eggs in both left and right largest being 21cm and I'm 45 yo.  Hopefully this will inspire you, if someone older and produce eggs then so can you. I had the IUI on the 23 and in the week of 2 week wait, which will finally end tomorrow for me, preg test via blood. Since my last visit Dr said it looks positive and deep inside I know that the process worked. So relax and trust your body you will produce great eggs which will result in a beautiful healthy baby. Relax and know it's gonna be ok.

I am not sure how many you should produce with follistim but I can tell you that it only takes one follicle to get pregnant. After many rounds of clomid we tried IUI with clomid and trigger shot and I only had one follicle that got large enough and I got pregnant. My history is endometriosis, dh has low count and morphology and I don't always O. I wish you the best. The Dr told me they like to see 2 or 3 and I felt like there was no hope that round and like we wasted our time and money but I was wrong, we got our BFP!
