I have spotting before periods for the last several years. It comes on for about 4-5 days before af actually starts. I have been ttc for a year and had 2 m/c due to low prog. Doc tells me spotting can be normal but I think the spotting has something to do with low prog. Get your levels checked 7dpo. Mine were borderline low and my dr gave me prog supplements to take. I also had a endometrial biopsy done and it showed a slight luteal phase defect.
