I was in the same boat. After 2 years of ttc and 2 failed clomid cycles I had a laparoscopy (diagnostic surgery) that finally explained what was wrong. Before moving on to more invasive and expensive treatments, talk to your ob about a lap.
Good luck to you!!
Well this is almost scary... My DH and I are the same ages as you and we have also been trying for 2 years. The first year we had a ectopic and I lost a tube in emergemcy surgery and then we had a mc after that. For the past year... NOTHING! It is so frustrating at times but I keep trying to be faithful and not to stress and tell myself that it will happen in God's timing but I am still struggling. Clomid hasn't worked for me so I will now be moving on to Femara which from what I have read actually has a better success rate with less side effect. Don't give up it will happen when the time is right!
I have unexplained infertility also... I've had all the tests and they can't find any cause for it.... We decided to go with IUI. My son is now 6 months old and we are trying IUI again to have another.
best of luck to you!!
Hi,
Dont worry, I too have unexplained secondary infertility, and have tried 4 clomid cycles, 3 iui's and now on ivf. hopefully the clomid will work with you, dont forget that its better that you stay in bed after intercorse, for at least half an hour, preferably with a pillow underneath your hips to elevate you up. and stay optimistic and keep your faith in God high
Good luck!
