Spotting

Okay me and hubby are TTC on and off (he's currently in TX and I'm in MI).  We tried the 23rd and 24th of last month (when we got married) and then he left state.  I had a period on the 17th of this month after a 41 day cycle (they're usually like that) and starting cd 14 I've had very light bleeding, not enough to be a period but enough that I need a light pad.  Hubby thinks I had a period during early pregnancy and am now having a miscarriage.  I don't feel pregnant... so I don't think thats it.  Plus we haven't had sex for OVER A MONTH!  I think I'd know I was pregnant by now.  What else can cause random mid cycle spotting?  I'm not on any medications... and my eating habits haven't changed (besides the introduction of a prenatal vitamin that I'm only taking one, not the recommended four).

yeah, af was a little weird in that it felt a day or two shorter than normal, even though it was still like 5 days long...  could be stress too, my dad is threatening to kick me out because it took a while for his housing allowance to come in and him to be able to send my dad money for rent.  Plus he wants me to get a full time job and start college full time... ugh.

I don't want to scare you but you should try taking a HPT.  I had the same thing happen to me and it was an ectopic pregnancy.  I didn't feel like I was PG at all.  I found out I was PG after it had ruptured.  My period was a little late, I tested BFN.  The I finally got AF it was a little lighter than normal but I wouldn'thave thought it was anything else.  Then two weeks later I started again and then it ruptured.  It probably isn't an ectopic but check to just make sure.  I could be stress because you just got married and you are now apart from you DH.
