pain during a hida scan

I was in pain about 20 minutes into the scan and after the tech started the cck Med in my IV about 10 minutes in the pain was so bad then I vomited. But my RF was 85% why did I have so much pain and vomited then the test came back negative

This would still be a positive test. Recent data argue that the reproduction of pain with the CCK is a better predictor of who will benefit from cholecystectomy than the ejection fraction. It sounds like you found your problem.

I would be surprised if it shows anything that could explain the pain. It sounds like you found the problem with the HIDA scan.
