Hello Doctor,
Bit of a long story. About a year ago, a few weeks after having sex with a new partner I started experiencing severe RUQ pains, with flu-like symptoms - nausea, fever, malaise, night sweats, along with enlargement of cervical lymph nodes. A few weeks later I also developed what I thought was a UTI, which did show up in a urine test as e.coli and was treated with Cipro, but I was still experiencing pelvic pains for a long time after. I assumed that it was a case of a bad flu but when my condition hasn't improved I started going to more specialists. I still experience severe RUQ pains at all times, which get worse upon breathing, moving, and bending down. I got tested for all STD's, which came out negative on multiple occasions. I was evaluated by an ENT, an infectious disease specialist, a gastroenterology. Was tested for all viral hepatitis, had a HIDA scan, an abd CT scan, and a colonoscopy. All bloodwork and imaging has been negative but I am still experiencing a pulling, burning pain in RUQ. Can this be FHCS? How can I rule it out? What more needs to be done?
Thank you
