I am confused I need to know could I be pregnant?????

I am having stomach pains. Every now and then and now my period is on and I took a dollar store pregnacy test.
that was stupid it came back negative but I had went to the hospital and they said that I had some bactreria from the pelvic examine. I keep feeling like I could be pregnant!!!! I called my doctor and asked him how did he tie my tubes and he said the took a part of tube from each side??? i guess that means he just clamped them!!! I have my period now it is not to heavy but it is a little weird when I went to the hospital for the stomach pains they said it could be vagintis but they really had no clue and gave me some antiboitics!!!! Could I be pregnant???? Or am I just over reacting????

Hi!
If my patient called me with a story like yours, I would probably try to reassure her that she wasn't pregnant.  From what you say your doctor described about your tubal, it sounds to me like he did what my patients refer to as the "cut, tie and burn".  No tubal is 100%, but if he says he took some tube out that is good.

The other two things in your favor are the fact that you have your period, and your pregnancy test was negative.

I am wondering about whether you might have irritable bowel syndrome-- you might want to Google that and see if any of the symptoms fit you. It can often mimic pregnancy, and sometimes some pretty simple dietary changes, etc can make a big difference.

Good Luck!
