Very sharp pains in lower left abdomen comes and goes

I had a D&C with ablation about 9 months ago because of heavy bleeding and severe cramping.  Everything was great for 7 months. In the last 2 months the severe cramping in lower left is horrible.  I have gone to doctor twice for vaginal ultrasound and he sees a 3.45 cyst that has not changed and uterus full of fluid.  He wants to dilate uterus to drain fluid and leave cyst.  How do I get out of pain????

Hi!
The fluid build up in the uterus is probably the cause of the pain.  Draining the fluid will most likely help almost immediately.  The problem that I forsee is that the fluid may recur unless your doctor can dilate your cervix enough to allow the fluid to discharge. The cyst is probably an innocent bystander and could be left alone.
Good luck!
