Hi Doc,
Please help. I was seeing girl late 08 into early 09 for 3 mnts or so. Last time we slept together was 20th of Jan or so...all unprotected. she says she was on yaz pill. in very early Feb she tells me shes throwing up and thinks she might be preg but doc tells her its stomach flu. well, we do urine test on Feb 6 it came back neg...she tells me she started period 2 days later...I was over it til she kept saying she wasnt feeling good - tired, back ache, stomach pain, etc..early March she says she went to gyno for "annual" and told she was anemic and needed to take iron, calcium vit d supplements. Said they did a preg test and it was neg. of course i dontt believe her. Late March, she goes to ER with stom pain/trouble breathing...says they did ultrasound & had inflamed pancreas. tell her I have a girlfriend so she tells me she wants to make things right take another test. She goes to planned parenthood in April and does urine test for me it too comes back neg...i didn't see her take it. I saw the paper they gave her. She calls me about 3 or 4 hours later and tell me she was pregnant and miscarried in early feb. She says she cheated on the first test to make it negative but she couldn't tell me how. Well, of course i still don't believe her and think she is pregnant. She says the miscarriage took 1 day and had vaginal ultrasound. I got upset and told her I was gonna tell her parents about it and she beat me to it...I went to her house the next morning and she took another urine test with her dad there...it too came back negative and he "assured" me she wasn't pregnant and she would have been showing..I don't believe that..I saw her in late may which would have her at 19 or 23 wks & she didnt look preg..she looked skinnier except her face..i haven't heard from her since. Based off what I told you with negs, the calc, vit d & iron supp, the inflamed panc, etc..do you think shes preg? Would gyno prescribe those supplements and why? What do u think..can i move on?

I don't think she is pregnant. I don't think she could fake a result from Planned Parenthood and I don't think her father would lie to you, even if she would. It is certainly possible that she had a miscarriage or abortion in early spring.
Next time use condoms!

Hi. I do understand your confusion. According to the information that you have provided, I think she is not pregnant because the urine tests have been repeatedly negative and she would have had other symptoms by the 5th month, ie, 20 weeks. What you can do to still confirm whether she is pregnant or not is to do an ultrasound of the lower abdomen. That would help you to confirm whether she is pregnant or not. Good Luck!
