Where I can find prometrium..
Thank Dr yes that what happen high prolactin levels is been normal today
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would wonder if you may not have had a period in awhile. If you have elevated prolactin levels (the usual reason for prescibing cabergoline) you may not have been having your period regularly and there may have been a build up of tissue within the uterus which is now being discharged. It is also possible that the lining of your uterus is very thin due to lack of estrogen stimulation and that is the cause of the bleeding. Either way, I would prescribe Prometrium for 10-14 days to slow down the flow of blood and stabilize the uterine lining.
I would probably then watch to see if you would begin regular ovulatory cycles, which shouldn't be excessively heavy.
If not, cyclic progesterone might be one option for treatment.
Good luck!
