Am I pregnant?

Hello,
I am asking this question because my period last month was on the 7th of Oct and this months I did not get it instead on the 15th I get this very painful cramp and that night when i went to the bathroom I saw 2 blood clots about the side of a nickle.I thought it was my period becuse I had blood clots DURING my period before but this time there still is NO period only VERY VERY light spotting, what can that be?

Hi!
I ALWAYS recommend a pregnancy test when unusual bleeding occurs. If that is positive, you should see your doctor right away!  If negative, you should probably still see your doc, but you have a little more time.
If you were my patient, and you had a negative test, I would probably give you 5 days of progesterone to start the period, and clean the uterus.  It could simply mean that you didn't ovulate this month, so the next step would probably be to watch and see what the next few cycles would be like.  If they continue to be irregular, birth control pills are a great way to regulate cycles--if you are not trying for pregnancy of course.
Hope this helps!
