Possible Sex and Deep Kissing?

I was just tested for HIV on 21/06/13 with the pooled test which looks directly for the virus and is valid within two weeks of exposure (offered by the New York Dept. of Public Health). On 03/07/13 this result came back negative. In this time, though, there were two encounters I'm concerned about. (1) On 30/06/13, I made out with a guy at a bar for a long time and we rubbed our penises together briefly. He asked me twice to perform oral sex, but I said no. I'm pretty certain we did not have sex, but since I was drunk, I don't recall all the details. He's a top and I think if we'd wandered off to some corner of the bar to have unprotected anal sex, I'd have felt something and remembered it. He says he tested negative in mid-June and that he doesn't recall having any kind of sex either. We were the last ones to leave the bar, and I remember putting him in a cab to send him home before heading home myself. (2) On 06/07/13, I did five to ten minutes of deep French kissing with a friend who later told me he's been HIV-positive for nine years with an undetectable viral load. I don't remember seeing or tasting any blood, but the next day I noticed I had some small cuts inside my mouth. Obviously I didn't examine his mouth before kissing him. We did not have sex of any kind. Is further testing even warranted in my situation? Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
The negative test that you had is the equivalent of our Early detection Multiplex PCR RNA test with a very high level of reliability after 10 days of any possible exposure, and in any case, all those previous exposures were either no risk or very low risk.
Regarding your subsequent encounters, these only involved genital rubbing and kissing, as far as you can recall without any kind of penetration.  Therefore they would have not involved any risk of HIV infection, regardless of the status of the other men, and therefore you do not need to get tested.
Best wishes,
Dr José

Just to clarify. There were encounters on June 6th and June 8th, one involved unprotected oral sex with no ejaculation and the other involved unprotected oral sex with no ejaculation and protected anal sex. Nothing happened between June 8th and June 21st, when I was tested, so the negative result from June 21st for the test which looks directly for the virus within 12 to 14 days of exposure means that these earlier encounters did not result in transmission. No other encounters of any kind took place between June 8th and June 30th, which is when the first incident described above took place.
