Hey Doc if possible can you please reply to my response below I would greatly appreciate it :-)
Sorry I didn't put your name doc but that question right above is for you
Hey Doc how are ya I really need your opinion on this matter, I know your style is straight forward and that's great. Okay so one month ago I performed oral on a guy also with a little fronttage but NO penetration was involved. I didn't start having problems until one month later out of the blue my eyes started hurting when I moved them around then Diarrhea. 2 days later after that my tounge is swollen underneath at the base (Saliviary Glands) and I have Dry mouth and my tounge is white. I have no lymph nodes swelling on my neck and I know I have to get checked soon, I was told it could be a viral std or a bacterial one. And other online docs said the same, I'm just a little stressed out by all of this. Please if ya can give me a little advice. I think I'm having shortness of breath as well but I'm sure that can be from anxiety.
I hope the above stated comment does not change your opinion. I have been reluctant to have sex with my wife for the longest period and now want to have a baby so will need to forego the condom usage....Just wanted an opinion from someone who can understand what I am talking about...
Thanks for your answer. It does help me settle my nerves. Last bit here before I leave you alone:
a. This incident happened 3 years ago.
b. since then I have had infections from giardiasis and subsequently treated for it.
c. Recently, I got prostitis and bad UTI and it was blamed on Pseudomonas Aeruginosa & was treated with one month of antibiotics
Now, I have come to know that both of them are opportunistic infection. I did not infor my doctor at that time of my risk because I felt french kissing was not really a risk. I haven;t been doing well health wise for last 3 years and that was my only risk. Can I still take it easy and forget about HIV or the above mentioned puts me on a red watch list...
I promise this is my last query...Kindly reply. Nothing more from my side...
Thanks for all your help
The answers to your questions are:
1. No, it does not.
2. Sever inflammation of the tonsils in the throat. No cough, no runny nose.
3. I would not worry about that.
4. No.
No danger to you and no danger to your family.
Regards,
Dr José
Thanks for your answer. Few follow up queries which might be helpful to calm me down:
1. Does my rash description match hiv rash. I mean the timeline was matching, dime to quarter in size and it started as a bad itch which on rubbing only became pinkish/reddish rash and last 10 or so days (3 weeks post incident). The only what keeps me calm is that i read on the web that hiv rash don't itch or start as a itch. Anyways, I guess you can let me know if what i got sounds like hiv rash.
2. Does the sore throat you refer to mean sore throat as an cough sore throat or pain near adam's apple especially felt while swallowing air and food and moving neck. Again, I am not sure if i actually had fever but clear fluid was running out of nose only when i use to be outdoors (not indoors). There was lot of tree pollen during this time so I got confused whether I was having some sort of allergy or viral illness.
3. It was dark in club so I could not see if there was any obvious presence of blood in girl's mouth and based on my oral health, it scares the hell out of me. Also, I hope I did not get the blood into my mouth from her 's or from her herpes blister(if she had) and churned it on top of any of my wounds
4. Any possibility of hep c or hep b
Lastly, Can I be sure I am ok and have not put my family in danger and forget about this whole thing. I assure you that nothing more happened.
Thanks & Take care
Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our forum.
As all you did was kissed, I can assure you that there is no risk of HIV infection at all whatsoever, regardless of your oral hygiene or the lady's HIV status. Therefore HIV can be totally ruled out. Moreover it is impossible to get a herpes outbreak after only 3 days of a possible exposure to HIV anyway.
Best wishes,
Dr José
