Don't know what to think?

Hello there
My Question is this. On December 8 of 07 I had unprotected oral sex on a female one night stand (status unknown). The first exposure was I gave her oral sex for about 30sec then stoped. A few hours later along with a few beers I made out with her that lead to foreplay that lead to me giving here oral sex again this time it lasted a few minutes. Shorty there after I tried to insert my penis into her vagina which did not completly penetrate exposing on the head of my penis insider which was only a few seconds no more than a minute. I than again performed oral sex on her for a few seconds (maybe a minute or so). I then tried to insert my penis again but did not go in all the way but I felt ther was precum so I pulled out, there after we ended the whole ordeal.
While performing oral sex on her I penetrated with my tounge and sucked on the clit a few times but I know that I only went down on her for a few minutes. I don't remember seeing any cuts or open sores on her vagina but I saw what looked like razor bumps not sure though i was intoxicated. Don't remember if I had any sores in my mouth at the time.
A few days later my tounge started to have a burning sensation along with a bump under my teeth just under my tounge. My left armpit started to get little achey pains now and then, constipation started a few days after and started to fell sick, nasuea dizziness, no headaches.  Then about 2.5 weeks to 3 weeks later I started to notice a small red dot just above my right side of my chest then a few days later some more started to appear on the other side of my chest then. Then more started to appear this time right below my breast or whatever where my upper stomache creases. Then they appeared on my otherside then on my low neck and a little on my back, then some under my chin. now I have one on my belly and a few behind my neck, they seemed to  disappeared within a week or less but they seem to re-appear on other parts of my chest one by one.

Reread my previous replies.  You came here for reassurance, presumably.  I gave it. Accept it and move on.

This thread is over.

Dear Doc
I have just one more question. I have no insurance and no money I have been out of work for a few weeks now and I contacted a lab and the price for testing is expensive this is all I can afford for now. I have no where to turn but here. I have read a lot of forums and let me tell you it is a bit adicting. Anyhow I have read alot of chances and the numbers you give like 1 in 1000 and all that. What would you rate my exposure not only with HIV but STD as well. Do you think there was a chance of catching any STD from the little exposure I had. The only thing that worries me is the rash or pimples on my trunk and on my back I also get them on my neck and behind it as well they hurt when they start to form and when they do they still hurt when you touch them. That's only on my neck and jaw and now I have pain in my groin that started about a two weeks ago. It doesn't really hurt just a slight pain every now and then. I don't notice any swelling of enlaged nodes I don't really feel for them. I alson get a small slight pain in my urethra not all the time. I have never had a discharge or pain while urinating just the little ache in my groin or at least I think it's my groin.  Again what was my chance for STD or HIV tell me just one more time doc to make me feel better. I'm done with Medhelp after this.

From the standpoint of risk assessment, it is never necessary to get HIV tested on account of any particular exposure, except for much higher risk events, such as unprotected anal sex between men, or vaginal intercourse with a known-infected partner.  Instead, the wiser approach is for sexually active people to just have a routine HIV test every 1-2 years.

Your symptoms are not related to HIV or any STD, and no, you should nto be worried,  But if you require a negative HIV test to prove to yourself that my reassurance is correct, it is fine with me if you get tested.

Dear Doc
Sorry I did not state but my biggest worry is infact HIV. Anyway I am a 26 yr old male I'vebeen married for 4 yrs now and I'm the only one my wife has ever been with. I have never been with another women. I have made contact with the girl who is 23 yrs of age and has 19 month old son. I have since asked for her status and says she is clean but after a few conversations she sounds like she lies a bit. Anyway do you think a was at risk enough to get tested after all it was breif and there was no full insertion and the head was only exposed for a few secs. But the spots on my body are still there and they come and go mainly on my trunk and neck but never had a fever slight joint aches and muscle twitches. Should I be worried? This is my last question Thanks alot.

This forum is limited to HIV questions, which doesn't seem to be your main concern.  HIV isn't caught by performing sex on women (cunnilingus) and can't cause symptoms as quickly as you describe.

It also is extremely rare to catch any STD by performing cunnilingus on a woman.  The tongue pain and the "bump" under your tongue conceivably could be herpes, but I doubt it.  The penile penetration carried greater STD risk than the oral sex, but even that was low risk since it was so brief.  None of your other symptoms is consistent with HIV or any STD.  I wonder about staph or strep infection (which conceivably you caught from your sex partner; those bacteria are transmitted skin-to-skin, but not necessarily by sex).  But that's little more than a wild guess.  You should see a health care provider about it.  And of course if the soreness in your mouth is continuing, also show that to your provider.  But from all you say, you really don't have any signficant STD or HIV worries.
