HIV risk with transsexual experience

Hi drs,

Just last week I did something stupid and can't stop worrying about it. I went with a
Transsexual hooker and we both exchanged blowjobs and she ejaculated into my mouth. I may have had a small irritation on my **** but hers looked ok.
We kissed and jerked eachother off and blowjobs but did not have intercourse. I was so worried I got tested right after and made the transexual get tested too and we both were negative but I'm still scared I could have got it. What are the odds? Do I need to get tested again because I'm going crazy here. Thanks for your time

John

I think you are gettting the advice we give mixed up with something you have heard or read elsewhere.  Neither of us on this Forum has suggested that oral sex is a meaningful risk for HIV.  As we have said again and again and again, there are no proven cases in which HIV was spreead by either giving or receiving oral sex.  EWH

Sorry, I meant sexual contacts not cases.

He says maybe because there is a highly theoretical risk, 1 in 10,000 cases, which both docs also say is a conservative number. It is highly unlikely that oral sex can transmit HIV.

Sorry to write again I have read your response a thousand times just to feel better. Just wondering why in many previous threads you state "HIV is transmitted by penile to vagina or anal sex and (maybe) oral sex. Maybe? Is it ok for me to have unprotected sex with my new girlfriend now?

This was a no risk exposure.  Since your partner was tested and found to be negative, the odds that she was HIV infected are tiny.  Even more importantly however, HIV is not spread through masturbation or oral sex.  There are no instances in which transmission of HIV has been proven to occur following these sorts of exposure.  You do not need to worry and do not need testing.
