Welcome to the Forum. I will try to comment. Let me first address your concerns about HIV. You were not infected by the encounter that you described. HIV is not a common disease and your two negative tests were taken at a time when results are definitive, proving that you were not infected. There is no reason for further concern about HIV and no reason for additional testing for HIV related to the encounter that you have described. Your girlfriend's sore throat is a coincidence, unrelated to the exposure that you mention.
Now a comment about the other STIs that you mention. If you have chlamydia, please be sure that your partner is also treated. Chlamydia can be present without symptoms and could lead to complications for her.
I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
No, it is statisically improbable.that you have chlmydia or any other STI
And as I have now said three times, there is no evidience you have HIV and you should believe your results.
This will be my final response. Further repetitive, anxietydriven questions will be deleted without comment. EWH
But it´s very probable. So I can really believe my HIV tests results?
Then there is no evidence you have either infection. EWH
I see. Sorry for being a bit insulting. I´ve got urine tests for chlamydia as I wrote before - these are negative. Thank you doctor and wish you all the best.
1. Detection of chlamydia antibodies is a research test and not recommended or useful for chlamydial diagnosis. If this is your only evidence of chlamydia and you were not tested in your urine or with a swab, then you do not know if you are infected or not.
2. As for the question about HIV seroconversion, this is a bit insulting. I told you twice that your results were definitive. If you are not going to believe me, you shouldn't have asked in the first place.
Finally, lymph node swelling, If that is driving your concern, is a non-specific finding. Believe your (HIV) test results. EWH
Please understand that I´m in a very difficult situation. If the girl has had chlamydia and was willing to have unprotected sex (than also with other clients) it was a very high risk exposure (thinking about chlamydia infected is more infetious with hiv if present and so more likely to catch it).
Chlamydia was detected in the western blott test but urine test was negative. Yes I´m asking about HIV seroconversion.
If your chlamydia was detected by a blood test this may be true. If it was detectedin a urine test or using a swab specimen taken from your penis, then you are most likely to be infected.
ARe you talking about HIV seroconversion after 10 weeks in your question? EWH
One last question about chlamydia. My doctor said it could be IgG - memory antigens and that I´m not infectious now. Is my baby threatened by disease when it wouldn´t be true and I´m infectious? And please give me a straight answer about seroconversion after 10 weeks - can it start as late? Because I´m feeling my lymph nodes become larger that week. That´s really last question. Thanks in advance. Thank you for your support.
Repetitive question. I would not have said there was no reason for concern if the tests were not reliable and your results were not conclusive. EWH
Thanks for the reply. Are there any know cases when seroconversion starts at 10-11 weeks with a normal healthy man? That´s my last question.
