No change in my assessment. No risk. EWH
Sir,
Today is 39 th day after the episode. I can see a small lump in my groin area.It is small and cannot be seen unless it is felt. I think it is a swollen lymph node. It is very small. I do not see any other neck/armpit nodes . Is there something to be worried about. I still maintain that there was no sex between us. I have had no fever, sore throat etc...
No change in my assessment. EWH
Sir,
Since last few days, I have developed itchy skin on my arms and legs and when I itch a red rash appears on the skin. It is dermatograhism. I have had this for sometime long even before the experience as stated above. It was mostly allergy related to food. I know that skin conditions is one of the primary manisfestations of the possible transmission. Is there any thing I should be concerned about?
BTW I did a test yesteray they used TRIPLE DOT method. I know it is too early but I did the same as I was taking out a new insurance policy.
We do not engage in ebate over information gathered over the internet. Your question, like those of many of our clients represents a great example of the power of the internet not only to inform but also to mislead. While there is much useful information available on the internet, much of it is also taken out of context or a bit unbalanced and some of it is just plain wrong. There are no such instances that have been reliably reported that I am aware of. EWH
Sir,
Thank You for the response above. In one of the websites I was reading, I found a below comment. Although I think (I checked) I did not see any wound on my fingers but the commnet has got me worried. The comment was as below
Inserting a finger into someone's anus or vagina would only be an HIV risk if the finger had cuts or sores on it and if there was direct contact with HIV infected blood, vaginal fluids or semen from the other person. There might also be a risk if the person doing the fingering had HIV and their finger was bleeding.
Welcome to our Forum. I see that you have asked the same question on the HIV Prevention Community site. I agree with all of the advice that you have received from them. This was a no risk event in terms of risk for HIV. There is no risk, at all of HIV from masturbation or touching. This is true even though it is typical in such situations for person to get each other's genital secretions on one another. Still no risk at all.
There is no need for concern or for testing related to the events you describe. EWH
