Risk of exposure

I was exposed 3 and a half months ago i am male the intercourse was condom protected with two seperate females at seperate times...one of the females performed unprotected oral sex on me.  I took a std panel which consisted of hsv 1 and 2, hiv, gon/clam, syphlis and hep.  The test was done at 5 weeks after the incident and all were negative.  I am extremely nervous and canot test again until i return home which is under 2 months....i am married and my wife will want to have sex right away i want to know my odds of contracting hiv from this type of exposure. i know of the 1 in 1000 transmission rate i just want to know my odds with the negative 5 week test and the odds i may have contracted any other std despite the test results i love my wife and this is the biggest mistake of my life i want to put it past me and avoid ruining my life

Virtually zero.  That is the reason I said you do not need to worry and do not need testing. EWH

Welcome to the Forum.  It is clear that these exposures have you worried, as evidenced by your over 20 recent posts.  You should not be worried.  Condom protected sex is safe sex and the quoted figure for HIV risk, if one has oral sex with an infected partner is less than 1 in 10,000 and, in my estimation that is too high. Some experts state there is no risk at all from oral sex.  Neither of us on this site have ever seen or reading the medical literature of a convincing instance in which HIV was passed by oral sex.

When you add those facts to negative tests, you really have no reason to be concerned at all.  At 5 weeks, your HIV test would detect nearly 95% of recently acquired HIV infections.  You o not need to be worried an you o not need more testing.  You need to figure out how to put this behind you, even if it means talking confidentially to a counselor.  EWH
