Shaving store

Hello
I was shaving at a barber shop (they have private rooms) and the barber cut me while shaving but i am not concerned because he had gloves on. When i finished and about to paying found my friend who just shaved and kissed him on the checks  ( check to cheek) . His cheek had a pimple or a cut im not sure
Is there a risk?

I understood what you meant and these comments do not change my opinion or advice.  HIV cannot be transmitted by such contact.

After  correcting the typos
Hello doctor
My concern is that my cheek  had a  cut and his cheek had a cut at the same time ( and we had a cheek to cheek kiss)hope the risk is clear ? We had fresh cuts because we both just shaved at the barber shop and met by chance

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are conceerned about.  That you kissed your friend on the cheek and somehow could have caught HIV because you had a shaving cut at the time?  That's absolutely impossible.  Most likely your friend doesn't have HIV, but if s/he does, there of course is no risk to you from this sort of contact, regardless of pimples, shaving cuts, etc. Such contact cannot possibly transmit HIV or any other virus.  Don't worry about it.

Best wishes-   HHH, MD
