Unprotected Oral Sex

Hi Doc,
I had unprotected oral sex with a stripper on May 1st, I came in her mouth
she told me she was clean and got tested 2 months back
not sure.
Please let me know my risks and what tests should i be taking.

From Forums.poz.com, they say HIV is not a risk from oral, please confirm.
Every website gives different information
I have white stuff on my tongue( not sure its Thrush)
little bit of skin rash

Please post a detailed reply on my risks and testing dates for everything.

Your question has been aswered.  This is part of what was said -"Bottom line, this was a low risk exposure. I would not worry or even seek testing at  this time."  Repeating your question will not change the answer.  Nor will more information about your partner or your symptoms.

The symptoms of early HIV do not begin within days of exposure- typically symptoms, if they are going to occur at 2-3 weeks.  In your case, any symptoms you develop will not be related to HIV because your exposure was virtually no risk.  On the other hand, it appears that your anxiety is out of control an that is what you need to attend to, not your non-existant risk of having gotten HIV.

The only other avbice I have for you is to stay off the internet.   It will just increase your anxiety with the large amount of misinformation to be foun there.  EWH

I saw she ad tiny red spots on the upper lip, are those indications of any STDs?HSV? sorry for posting 2 many questions, cant get this out of my mind

I sucked her nipples, would that cause any infection?

i have googled millions times on white stuff on mouth, the pictures on net are far more worse than what i have, one of symptoms tell even if you are diabetic you get it and i am diabetic, i even asked her to get tested, she did with labcorp today, all the 8 tests( HIV, Herpes, Syphillis, chalamdiya, HSV, Gonorreah) have to wait till wednesday next week to get the results which might give some comfort

please post a detailed reply when get a chance, if i have to repay, i will do it

Doc, Lot of sites claim they can detect everything in 2weeks after exposures, can you please recommend what tests and timelines for testing
They say PCR RNA can detect everything in 2 weeks, is that true?

Thanks Doc That's very comforting
I have white stuff on mouth not spots and skin feels itchy on hands

So do you advise not to get any testing
I just don't want to pass on anything

CDC and webmd says HIV is also possible from oral but medhelp and forums poz says no evidence

But any timelines for general std testing?

Welcome to the forum.  Receipt of oral sex is very low risk for all STDs including HIV.  Most people do not have STDs (including HIV) and most sexual exposures to persons with STDs do not lead to transmission of infection.

Oral sex is an inefficient way to transmit STDs.  Of the bacterial STDs only gonorrhea and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) are transmitted through receipt of oral sex; chlamydia is not and without an obvious sore or lesion on your partner’s mouth, the chances of syphilis and herpes is likewise tiny.   If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you would have most likely developed symptoms of urethritis (penile infection) such as burning on urination or a discharge from your penis.  the risk of HIV from an exposure of this sort is so low that I would not even recommend testing.

As for your white spots and rash, this is far too early following an exposure to have symptoms of HIV.   The are not relate to your sexual exposure in May 1.

Bottom line, this was a low risk exposure. I would not worry or even seek testing at  this time. EWH
