am i having ARS
hello doctor,
i met a csw on 21 /4/ 13 morning , and she jus lie up on me with her pyjama on me, i was wearing a shorts , she jus rubbed me over my penis , with dress for a 3 minute, in middle she took my penis in her hand . i came in my shorts. and washed thoroughly. , i am now very scared because , i am having sever throat infection with fever on the fourth day ( 24/4/13). i am living in india fyi
1. am i at risk?
2. can ars come in 4th day
3. how to have safe sex in future
4. is my sore throat , actually my tonsils is having infected with white patch , and having pain and fever , is this like ars.

I will be happy to comment and to confirm what you have already been told on the HIV Community site. the activities you describe did not put you at risk for HIV or for any other STDs. HIV and most STDs are spread only through sexual activity in which genital penetration occurs. Further HIV and STDs are never spread through clothes, even if the clothes become wet and soaked with genital secretions. There is no reason for concern and no need for testing.

As u said i am now better, and my fever lasted only for 3 days and my sore throat like tonsillitis is now 99% cured.( all started from the fourth day after the incident and gone in the first week itself) , i believe this not ARS
(sources from the internet scares me)

Your symptoms are not due to HIV or other STD acquired through the activities you describe. I hope you will feel better soon. EWH

ur reply is really very helping for me, so i should ignore the throat infection and high fever of 104 degree , and i went to ENT doctor he gave amoxyllin antibiotic, and paracetomol for fever, and now i got loose watery stools 2 time today , since there is no rsik involved , i should move on, without worrying about the symptoms like ARS,
