Welcome to our Forum.  To summarize, you have had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a commercial sex worker with unknown HIV status, Now  you have a flu-like illness. Could this be HIV.

The short answer to your question is that while this could be HIV it is unlikely to be.  Chances are that your partner did not have HIV and even if she die, there is virtually no risk of getting HIV from receipt of oral sex and the risk from unprotected vaginal sex is less than 1 infection in 1000 acts of vaginal intercourse, IF you partner had HIV which, as I have already said, it unlikely.. The symptoms you are having may be compatible with having HIV but it is far, far more likely that what you are experiencing is a summer cold.  If your symptoms are due to HIV, 5-7 days after the onset of symptoms an HIV blood test (preferably a DUO test which tests for other HIV antibody and p24 antigen) would almost certainly be positive.

My assessment is that it is unlikely that you have HIV.  An HIV blood test, as suggested above, might be a good idea, with a follow-up at 8 weeks when virtually all HIV blood tests are positive.  If these tests are negative, you need not worry further.  EWH
