HIV test (handjob infection?)
Hello Doctor! i am a male from Lebanon! i had a hand-job from a prostitute. The thing that i am afraid that my penis had a small scratch (i don't think it is a cut).
I did not have fever nor Severe sore throat nor rash. i had a little tingling in the throat white tongue!
I Had an HIV Test that mention "the search for HIV antibodies" at 4 weeks. it was negative.
I had also an HIV test that mention "the search for HIV antibodies and and p24 Ag using MEIA technique" at 4 weeks 6 days and it was also negative.
Therefore can you please doctor assess my situation if I need to go for further testing? What are my chances of getting HIV or any other STD infection?

Receiving a hand job, even in the presenc of a cut on the penis, does not pose any risk of HIV infection or any other STD. Therefore there was no risk to test you in the first place. In any case as you had a negative p24 antigen test after 4 weeks, that would be considered conclusive and would confirm that you are HIV negative.

Your test for P24 antigen is very reliable after 4 weeks. Not the same case for me. Same situation but fever for more then 3 weeks and rash a week after hand job.
