Hello,
Thank you for your post. Apologies for not having replied sooner but we have been incredibly busy in clinic.
Your brief unprotected anal penetration would involve some risks of HIV infection if the other person was positive. However the risk for you is quite low because the penetration was very brief and you were the active partner. The symptoms that you mention are not consistent with HIV sero-conversion as they started far too early following the sexual encounter. In summary, I do not believe that you need to worry about HIV. However you would need to be tested with a HIV Duo after 4 weeks of the incident, simply because it was an unprotected penetration. I am confident that it is going to be negative.
Best wisehs,
Dr José
I´m sorry, i know im thinking irrationally right now. I will test in 2 weeks more or less. Thanks for your help and psychological support. The rash appears to be fading and I haven´t had any other symptoms like fever or sore throat.
Thank you, I appreciate your time. The rash first appeared 2 weeks and 3 days after the possible exposure. I still have a rash on my forehead only, and I dont have a fever or headache or diahrrea, just this rash. It has now been 3 weeks since the possible exposure and the rash is still there. Is it possible to have just a forehead rash as the acute hiv syndrome?

Ok here is a picture of the rash on my forehead when I first noticed it. I noticed it after the sauna, and so far there has been no other rashes on any other part of my body. I dont feel sick or have a fever either. Does this look like it could be the ars rash?
About a week after exposure i had a gingivitis flare up with an ulcer above my molars. I have been flossing and using listerine regularly since then and it is now nearly cleared up. Is this an HIV initial symptom? Also, today i noticed small bumps spread evenly on my forehead. I later learned that they resembled sweat bumps, or a sweat rash. This makes sense because I was in the sauna today and was sweating pretty profusely from my forehead. Is this another primary symptom of the hiv?
I would like to know the amount of risk that was present for contracting hiv please.
