Fear of HIV transmission through a paper cut

Dr,
One month ago I fingered a sex worker. I used a condom wrapped around my index and middle fingers. The next day I noticed a small paper cut on my ring finger that was fairly fresh i assume i got it 3 -4 hours before the fingering event. I know I did not stick it in her vagina but worried sick that some of her fluids may have been splashed on it. It has been a month, I am afraid of being tested for HIV as I live in the Middle East and positive testing will cause expelling from the country. can you help?

Hello,
I can assure you that there is no risk of HIV infection through vaginal fingering even with a cut present on your finger.  Not a single case has ever been reported.  And in any case, you emntioned that you used a condom, whcih is totally safe.  There is no need for you to be tested or to worry about it.
Best wishes,
Dr José
