Concern Re: HIV Exposure & Understanding Test Results

hsx
Had unprotected, vaginal sex 3/23 w/ stripper (unknown STI status)

Visited clinic 3/24 & was given prophylactic treatment of Rocephin & Azithromycin & 30-day prescription for nPEP (Truvada + Kaletra)

Had baseline tests run 3/26...all negative

Retested last week for the following, all NEGATIVE:
* Hep A/B/C@ 94 days
* Syphills (RPR&TPPA)@ 89 days
* Gonorrhea@ 93 days
* Chlamydia@ 93 days
* HSV-2@ 93 days
* HIV 1/2: @ 89 days (59 days post-PEP): Rapid; MAIN-HIV-1-EIA; & NAAT (was told NAAT screened for RNA of both HIV 1/2) & @ 93 days (63 days post-PEP): EIA HIV 1/2

Despite the results, experiencing strange things:

* A pimple-like "rash" on chest & shoulders @ 6.5 weeks (2.5 weeks after PEP ended); cleared w/in a week. Was also taking CIPRO at the time for what my urologist thought was epididymitis. The CIPRO didn't seem to be working after 1 week so my urologist switched me to doxycycline (for 2 more weeks)

* Skin peeling in flakes from palms (along creases)

* Small, painless white bump on inside of my lower, left gum

* Intermittent soreness in roof of my mouth (near my teeth), almost like a burning feeling

* Couple small, round, brown dots (flat) on elbow & one on top of left foot (foot spot healed)

* Some dull pain in my left testicle (remnant empididimytis pain?) - have a history of empididimytis every few years that's not related to STD exposure

* Some tingling in my index and pinky fingers (both hands), noticeable whenever I put pressure on my elbow area (Neurologist diagnosed as Cubital Tunnel syndrome, but timing is concerning)

* Some facial growths - like small warts mainly around my eyes

* Lost 15-20 lbs over this period, though I think that may be due to stress and watching my diet

No fever or genital outbreaks that I'm aware of

Is any more testing (for anything, but particularly HIV) warranted? Encouraged by the negative HIV NAAT but also not sure of the impact of PEP on testing and remain flummoxed by the weird symptoms I'm experiencing.

Hello,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum.
All your negative test results are final and fully conclusive at the period of time taken, including HIV as there was enough time from finishing PEP and the time of the tests.  All these negative tests confirm that you have not contracted any STDs from this sexual encounter, and your symptoms are not related to any STD either.
Kind regards,
Dr José
