HIV questions

Dear Dr.
I know I am being paranoid! And I am sorry! But I need to clear and understand some issues.
I posted early on this forum about a handjob risk of hiv infection.
I tested my self for hiv at:
4 weeks (search for antibodies hiv1 and 2) negative.
4 weeks 6 days (search for antibodies hiv1 and 2 and AG p24) negative.
6 weeks 2 days (search for antibodies hiv1 and 2 and AG p24) negative.
The reason that I am worried that is if I had a cut and the women giving me a handjob had also a cut what are my chances of getting any STI?
My health situation has not been good since I started to panic about this subject.
I have white tongue, allergies above my teeth on my gum (small white patches), weird taste, discomfort feeling in my throat and dry caught.
I have also a bit of weird feeling in my muscle especially left hand. But I practice bodybuilding so I think it is related to the exercises I am doing.
My questions are:
1) Is any of my tests are 4 generation?
2) How accurate is the test after 4 weeks? 6 weeks?
3) Is any of my symptoms are related to hiv?
4) Do I need to get a confirmation test at 3 month? 6 month?

Thanks a lot for your helps.

Good Morning

You are HIV negative.

You asked:-

1) Is any of my tests are 4 generation?

Yes, the last two tests are 4th generation. A fourth generation test uses both antibodies and p24 antigen.

2) How accurate is the test after 4 weeks? 6 weeks?

At 4 weeks the test is more than 99.89% accurate. At 6 weeks the test is near 100%.

3) Is any of my symptoms are related to hiv?

no

4) Do I need to get a confirmation test at 3 month? 6 month?

No. You didn't do anything which might have exposed you to risk in the first place and you have had a sequence of tests - the 4th generation are excellent - and you have been proved to be HIV negative.

Best wishes, Sean

Thank you Dr Sean for the answer.

But what causes the white tongue and the white patches on my upper gum?
It is not painful.

Thanks again!
