condom slip risk

have had a condom slip during with drawl with an escort in Europe. She said she was clean, but would not rely as an natural instinct.

I reside in India & have taken HIV Duo test (Vidas HIV Duo) at 3, 5 & 7 weeks with negative result, followed by HIV Combo Ab/Ag at 11 & 13 weeks & an antibody test at end of 3 months (90 days) which were also negative.

Until my test of 7 th week, had an response from Dr.Jose, however i still look for response post the 3 month mark & thus posting it again.

This incidence has bought in anxiety & have been under weather with cold, sore throat almost 2-3 times in last 3 months. The current cold, sore throat has lasted for more than 4-6 weeks, with general fatigue & tiredness. This has never been the case with me in past & usually would recover from any common flu/cold within a week as i am quite physical fit engaged in sports & fitness.

Owing to continual of some sort of illness has bothered me & thus in spite of all the tests has left me in quandary. Had 2 -3 courses of antibiotics for cold, including tamiflu for swine flue. I am also on anti anxiety medicine for sleep

I am having protected sex with my spouse. Do i still need to worry about the window period & HIV infection or should move in with life. Different labs specify different norms on window periods adding to worries, 3 & 6 months.

Can i have unprotected sex with my spouse or wait until 6 month mark?

Hello

You asked:-

I am having protected sex with my spouse. Do i still need to worry about the window period & HIV infection or should move in with life. Different labs specify different norms on window periods adding to worries, 3 & 6 months.

You are HIV negative and (assuming you have conclusively ruled out other STD's such as syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, etc) then I would encourage you to resume normal sexual activity with your wife. You will not infect your wife with HIV - you do not have it.

Laboratories will vary in what they say depending on which test they offer and what facilities they have. Some laboratories are still offering 1st generation HIV tests which are thoroughly unreliable within the modern window period. You have had numerous fourth generation HIV tests which are excellent and conclusively establish that you are HIV negative.

Can i have unprotected sex with my spouse or wait until 6 month mark?

Same answer as above.

Can precum/semen of infected person infect partner performing oral sex.

I have no idea what this question means.

best regards, Sean
