Man, you've spent $45.00 so far and have received the same answers.
You don't have an STD. If kissing transmitted STD's, we'd all be sick by now.......
No, you cannot catch chlamydia or HIV or any other STD that way. There is some small, theroetical risk of herpes. And pain in the penis or urine dripping don't suggest chlamydia or herpes. Also, your doctor doesn't think you have chlamydia, because s/he probably knows that cipro doesn't work against chlamydia.
They call them STDs because you have to have sex to transmit them. You did not.
Conintue to follow your provider's advice. But forget HIV and other STDs. I won't have any further comments.
Doc first I want to thank you for your analysis of my issue. Iwanted to ask you if it was possible to get chlamydia from fingering a girl then touching your penis. Is it possible to catch it that way? I dont undersatnd why I have chlamydia like symptoms if I never had any type of sex with this girl.
HIV isn't transmitted by kissing, oral contact with breasts, or hand-genital contact, or by contact with saliva, which does not contain infectious HIV. The fact is you didn't really have sex; and what you did was totally safe, even if the stripper had HIV, which she probably didn't.
Your final statement, "I don't understand how I could have caught anything if there was no sexual intercourse": exactly right. Therefore, you symptoms are not due to something you caught from the stripper. In regard to your comment below, no STD causes urine dripping; none, period, no exceptions. If your symptoms continue, follow-up again with your provider. But I see no cause for alarm here. Whatever is going on, there is no significant risk to your health.
Good luck--- HHH, MD
