1. An HIV Duo test (combined HIV p24 antigen/HIV antibody will be definitve at 4 weeks (28 days). If you do not have acccess to a DUO test, a standard HIV antibody test will be definitive at 8 weeks.
2. See above for timing.

Thanks Dr.
Last questions: I wanted to have an HIV test (even before this event):
1) I leave in Vietnam, so what this the name of the test I should ask for?
2) How long should I take the test considering that the above event happened 5 days ago?
Thanks
As I said before no risk even with a fresh cut on your finger and no matter what the size. You have "always" be told wrong.
There are no studies which compare anal masturbatin to vaginal mastubation but, as I said, there are no data to suggest that there is any risk at all from any form of masturbation. EWH
Thanks Dr. Edward!
Even if I found fresh blood on my finger? I was always been told that blood is way of transmission.
Any cut size to increase the risk?
Is true that HIV has more chance to get transmitted trough anal finger when compared to vaginal fingering.
Thanks for your patience :)
HIV is not transmitted by masturbation. this has been shown on many studies and is true whther or not the person has active cuts on thier finger. In your case, your surface cut does no provide a way for vaginal or rectal secretions to get deep into tissues, even if your partner was infected (and this is unlikely).
The information you have read (probably on the internet, an unreliable source is onformation) is incorrect. EWH
