Absolute Cd4 helper                         879 /ul                                          359-1519

% of cd4 pos. lymph                         31.4%                                           30.8% - 58.5%

Ab cd8 suppressor                              1204/ul                High                    109 - 897

%  cd8 pos. lymph                             43%                    High                     12 - 35.5%

CD4 : CD8 ratio                                 0.73                    Low                       0.92- 3.72

Your tests prove that your problem is not a STI.  Beyond this is neither my area of expertise, nor the focus of this Forum.   It is now time to work with your doctors for other, non-STI causes.  EWH

Welcome to our Forum.  I'm not sure why you are worried about STIs or HIV but he test results you describe clearly prove that you have not recently acquired HIV and that you probably have HSV-1, as do over 60% of normal adults (typically resulting from oral infection acquired during childhood).

The CD4/CD8 ration is outdated and no longer used to evaluate person with HIV ad has NO role in evaluating risk for infection in others who do not have HIV.  Your CD8 cell count is high and your CD4 lymphocyte count is normal.  In persons with HIV, the CD4 count is low because of the infection (the virus selectively destroys CD4 cells) and that, in turn, makes the ratio of CD4 to CD8 cells also low.  In normal people both CD4 and CD8 counts fluctuate a great deal normally.

In answer to your specific questions:
Why my cd4:cd8 ratio is low?
See above.  Getting a CD4/CD8 ratio is a waste of money for person who do not have HIV and you do not have HIV.

why my ab cd8 suppressor and cd8 pos lymph % is high?
See above. There are any number of reasons which could explain this. it is not something to worry about.

I hope these comments are helpful to you.  Are you ordering these tests yourself or is your doctor doing this.  In either instance, although I have not taken a full history from you, I see no reason for doing these tests or to worry further about HIV from past exposures. EWH
