Your symptoms don't suggest STD, and the STD risk was zero for practical purposes. Of course see a health care provider if you remain concerned. Please don't return to post negative HIV results.
Dr.HHH - Thanks a ton for your response,I did some analysis about my symtoms after the event.I take back the red dot/pimple on my chest from my symtoms,I observed from my previous pictures which were taken before the event and I see that red dot/pimple is there. Also I'm confident that I'm not infected but my worry and anxiety makes me to visit this forum and express my symtoms to seek a good advice.
I really appreciate your wonderful contribution to this forum and man kind to fight and protect ppl against this evil gift (HIV/AIDS) to human being.
I tried to post STD questions on the STD forum but it didn't allow me to do so,it will be great if you can advice me in that direction as well. From my symtoms above metioned do you think I'm infected with any STD's, after 24 days I don't have any symtoms other than mild headache which I think is because of stress/anxiety.
Please advise if you suggest me to consult and doctor or any tests.
P.S. I'll keep you posted about my 6-8 weeks HIV test results.
Best regards,
Your risk is low; I would not have recommended HIV testing at all after such a low risk event. It is not realistically possible you were infected. But if you want still further reassurance, have another test 6-8 weeks after the event.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
I am not a doctor, but this about what the doc will say. You need a test betweene 6 to 8 weeks to be sure that you don't have HIV. a 4 day test wouldn't tell you anything about the exposure that you describe. Having said that, you describe an extremely low risk situation. But if you want, you can take the test from 6 to 8 weeks after this exposure to calm your anxiety. I am sure that it'll be negative.
