risk after a kiss

hello docs
im freaking out ....i kept reading the forum but everytime i close it i go back to were i started
im getting treatment for OCD

i was at a stripclub and took a privte dance in NYC
the stripper started too french kiss me and i think she bit my toung cause after about 10 min or so my OCD started kicking
i went to see my toung when i got back home there is a red spot in the tip

didnt taste blood
if there was blood should i get tested am i at risk ?

and i know u said dont say what if or this and that
i didnt feel a thing during the event ..she was light bitting the tounge and lips
i didnt taste blood ...but at home a felt and saw this sore on tip of my tounge

no need for testing and still a no risk event ?

Welcome to the forum.  I'll try to help.

You describe nothing you should be "freaking out" over.  Saliva kills HIV, which is not transmitted by kissing and probably not by biting either.  And it is not plausible that you "think" she bit your tongue; the tounge is highly sensitive and you would know for sure -- just think how much it hurts when you accidentally bite it yourself.  So there was no risk even if the stripper had HIV, and the chances are less than 1 chance in a hundred that she does.

Try to stop worrying about this even.  Do not search the web about it.  Do not get tested.  See your OCD therapist if your concerns continue.

Most people with OCD (or OCD tendencies) tend to come up with "yes but", "what if", or "did you understand this part" sort of questions.  Let's not have any this time.  Trust me on this:  there is nothing you can add that would change my opinion or advice.
