Hiv from rec oral sex

Seven and a half weeks ago, on a business trip I had relations with a woman for one night.  I am married, and have had no prior relations in my marriage and am extremely upset this happend.  We only kissed and she performed oral sex on me.  We did not have intercourse, and I did not recipricate the oral sex on her.  While she was performing on me at the end, I noticed a few small red bumps on the side of her tongue.  Afterwards, she told me she has a nervous habit of biting her tongue when she is nervous.  I became very nervous of a STD.  Three to Four days later I noticed a little bump, almost like a zit on my penis.  A few days later another on came.  They actually looked like nothing but I went to the Dr after 2 weeks to be sure , and he diagnosed me with condaloma( genital warts).  I read genital warts usually come after 1-3 months after sexual relations.  I was extremely stressed out after I saw those bumps on her tongue and couldnt sleep for days.  I am extrmely scared of possible HIV.  I know I had a tiny cut on my testicles from two days prior to seeing her which she licked on very briefly.  The lady told me she was disease free and gets tested, btu she told me her company tests her every 6 months.  I know no companies that actually do HIV testing, even though she said hers does.
My questions are do you think the genital warts are from this experience of receiving oral sex?  I still cant sleep about possible HIV and her licking a possible tiny cut? DO you think the small red bumps on her tongue are a nervous habit or could it be something else?  Also after 7 weeks I had a burning sensation while urinating.  I had kidney stones before and think thats what it felt like or could it be another STD and didnt give me a buring sensation until 7 weeks after the experience.

You had safe sex by all standards, cuts on penis or anything else--even if your partner had HIV, which almost certainly she did not.  And few or no cases of acquiring HIV by receiving oral sex have ever been documented.  So the chance you caught HIV is too low to measure--literally lower than the chance you will die of a lightning strike.  Although most STDs increase the risk of catching or transmitting HIV, HPV and genital warts do not.  If the diagnosis of genital warts is correct, you can be certain you were infected long before the sexual encounter you describe.  Your symptoms do not suggest HIV or any other STD.

You need to put that sexual encounter out of your mind as a health risk of any kind.  I'm more concerned about your partner's health than yours; I trust you have told her that you exposed her to genital warts.

Good luck-- HHH, MD

Gwarts88. From past forums I read, Doctor H seems to state there is a very low risk to acquire HIV through oral sex. I don't know what the exact stat is, but he has said on more than one occasion that it's very low. Based on what you say, the odds are in your favor. Search the forum for oral sex risks, and you will see what I mean. I also believe that the good Dr says, and doc correct me if I am wrong, but that the main risk for heterosexual oral sex is herpes. Finally, he mentions that oral sex is considered safe sex. As to what the woman says, everyone I believe has slept with someone at least once in their life that they view as risky, even though most times, the mind does play tricks on us. I know it's hard to relax, but rationally speaking, the odds are in your favor that you don't have Hiv. I can't tell you how to live your life, not my place, but if you are going to have other affairs, and will receive oral sex, use non-lubricated condoms. Those are good for receiving oral. hope this helps.

You did not get genital warts from that woman.  HPV strands can lie dormant for a long time.  Hell, your wife may have given it to you.  (Not suggesting she cheated.)  If you have had 3 or more partners in your lifetime, you most likely contracted hpv at some point.  It happens to almost everyone.  It's (probably)just coincidential that your seeing symptoms now.  As for hiv, you were the reciever (lower chance then the one performing.) There has never even been a documented case of oral transmission.  I doubt you are the first.  Relax.

I know the risks are low of HIV, but I still owrry.  I also didnt know if the tiny cut I had on my testicles, and her licking that area for 20sec would subject me to higher risk.  I am just paranoid, and curious if I got HPV from this experience or a prior one.  O know showing genital warts within a week seems fast.  I also thought the risk of getting it from rec oral was very low
