Is It Testing enough ?

Sorry for the not so good english.
In brief:
1) One sexual exposure (M/M) supposedto be full protected (however I have now reasons to think that something went wrong). I didn´t think about it afterwards.
2) One week later light oral candida (no fever and whatsoever) which desapear in three days. But followed by severe Xerostomy that lasted until very recently (+/- 4,5 months) now is just a litle bit dry mouth.
3)As I had some worries I asked for some tests at week 5 (HIV- rapid test: Negative ; IGA a bit High; IGm Normal; IGGNormal ; Eco on my Neck : Two Lifonodes Enlarged and a "Discret" inflamation- chronic like- of the parotides)
4) I saw a doctor that asked a new set of  tests to perform at 3 months:
    Sifflis - Negative
    HCV  - Negative
Ep. Barrr - Positive from past infection
CMV - Positive from past infection.
    HIV ( ELFA 4th Generation - Negative)
HBV and HAV - Imun. from past exposure
5) As I was experincing some genital disconfort, at month 4 I tested for Clamidia AB, it came positive (reason why I mistrust the full protection), with no evidence of the bacteria in the bacterial tests performed in my urine and sperma - I was treated.

Question - Should I rely on my 4th generation test at 87 days or plan for another one ? I Know that is only one opinion and not a full consultation, anyway, I would appreciate your support.

Thanks in advance !

Welcome to our Forum.  I am not sure why you think that your protection did not work. If it is because of your positive blood test for chlamydia, don't worry. Blood tests for chlamydia are VERY unreliable and should never be considered as an indicator of recent infection.  They have low sensitivity, many false positive results and can be positive because of past infections.  Your “positive” blood test for chlamydia provides you with no useful information.

Your HIV test results are completely reliable. A 4th generation HIV test is completely reliable at any time more than 4 weeks after exposure.

there is no reason to worry and no reason for further testing.  EWH

My feeling that something went wrong is not just the clamidia but also the other findings and synptoms I experienced (I'm not saying it is HIV), but something had to happened since I was not still worried or thinking about the exposure when Candida and following happened one week after.
Anyway thanks for your comment and guidance. If you wish you may comment on this and finish the subject.

Once again, thanks for your help.
