This will be the last answer. Your recurring folliculitis and seborrheic dermatitis are not a reason to wrorrry in relationship to the exposure that you have described.

should be worrysome for me that i have both conditions recurring on my face? a couple of months after a low risk event?
doc i am sorry and i promise to leave the forum forever after this ques do hiv related follicutis show up couple of months after exposure?
Seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis can co-exist in persons with or without HIV. When persons have low CD4 counts these problems tend to be more severe. EWH
away after a while but comes back i saw online eosphonic follicultius has serb derma on top on it? is that correct but they say it appears at t cell count 250 is that early in hiv infection its just for my info i know i have no risk.
i am sorry to bother you again, but i wanted to clarify that the seborihic dermatsis appears on top of the area of follicultius, as it starts to heal, and goes
thank you sir i feel much better. in a nutshell i dont have anything to worry about. i can move on despite symptoms. as long as i dont do anal, vaginal or oral i wont get get hiv from fisting and handjobs
Seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis are different processes which are managed in different ways. I suggest that you discuss these with a dermatologist.
HIV would not be transmitted in massage oil, no matter where it was poured.
the exposures you describe are no risk, whether you had one event or 101.
Take care. EWH
Thank You Sir,
I took Antibiotics before follicultis, and Seb Dema should up do you think it has anything to do with it?
Also just as a general question the follicultius and seb derma would not be in one small spot on face it would be widespread is that correct?
This will be my last question if the massage oil that she pored in my rectum had blood would the virus be dead and non infective? it was coconut oil. The numbers of exposures does it make it risky?
Welcome to our Forum. I'll be glad to comment. Let me first congratulate you on your personal commitment to safe sex. This will keep you free of HIV and other STDs. Both hand jobs and prostate massage are forms of masturbation and as such are not associated with any known risk for HIV. There are no cases in which HIV has been shown to be transmitted through masturbation, thus if these are the only exposures of concern, you have no reason for concern and no medical reason for HIV testing.
With regard to your seborrheic dermatitis and your folliculitis, it is important for me to point out that both of these are very, very common dermatologic conditions which become more common and more severe in persons with HIV. Thus given your absence of risk, you can be confident that your folliculitis and your seborrhea are not manifestations of HIV.
From what you have said, there is no reason for concern about HIV, no reason for HIV testing and no reason to worry about having unprotected sex with your wife.
I hope my comments are helpful and reassuring. EWH
