I am killing my mother

Dear Dr.
I am taking care of my mother, who has a severe metastasis breast cancer.  We reside in Ecuador.  I hope you help me with an answer due to the fact as the stress I am feeling because of this exposure is not helping me neither the environment surrounding my mother

You don't describe any exposures that suggest you are at risk for HIV.  And even if you were, you certainly would not be a risk to your mother, or to anyone else you were to help with health care.  (HIV infected nurses, doctors, and hospital staff provide care to patients all the time.)  To answer your specific questions:

1) Risk of HIV?  Zero from the exposures you describe.

2) Bleeding gums make no realistic difference when the exposure itself is virtually no risk.

3) How could masturbation possibly risk catching a virus from another person??

4) You don't need testing at all.  But if you decide to do it for peace of mind, have a test 6-8 weeks after the events that concern you.

5) Most people who suggest themselves that they could benefit from counseling almost certainly would benefit indeed.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

Calm down and get off the Internet. I don't know of a documented case from cunnilingus or rubbing genitals. Your masturbation thing is ridiculous.

Relax buddy, everything will be ok, Doctor H will answer ur question, and I personally believe u will be fine. I had a similar exposure to urs and I had the symptoms, and Doctor H told me that I will be fine and that symptoms dont mean anything, I know the swollen nodes is the most scary thing (at least to me) but depending on ur situation the doctor will explain u and assess ur risk. good luck buddy and take it easy on urself. (please do not symptom surf on the internet), i am saying this from personal experience.
