HIV Risk?

Doc,
A couple months ago I went on a business trip to Mexico. I had a sex with csw, she performed oral sex with the condom on, I ejaculated but I never changed the condom when we had vaginal sex for a couple minutes. The condom was extremely loose, and I forgot to check if there was any holes.. I wasn't showing any symptoms until recently when I had a fever about 103 degrees, cough, stuffy noise, and sore throat which only lasted for a couple days.. do I have anything to worry about? I'm also not circumsised... Thanks

Your exposure was no risk.  Your circumcision status is irrelevant.  I have nothing more to say. EWH

Thanks doc
By the way if you are not circumcised are you in a greater risk?

Welcome to our Forum.  Your risk for HIV from the encounter you describe is low.  Condom protected sex is safe sex and when condoms fail, they break wide open. They do not just "leak".  If you are concerned, a single HIV test at this time will put your mind at rest.  Tests performed at any time for than 8 weeks following a potential exposure are completely reliable.

As far as your symptoms are concerned, several months since your encounter is too long to be a manifestation of recently acquired HIV infection and is almost certainly a manifestation of something other than recently acquired HIV infection.

I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
