Glad I could help. Take care. EWH
Thanks. Both you and Dr H do a great service here and to know that there are still doctors out there that truly care about ppl is reassuring. Thank you again for helping me and all on this forum.
I see no medical need for further testing. EWH
Hi doctor I had paid 22 usd but why is my post not posted?
I wanted to know if the symptoms I am having could be related to a HIV infection and do you think is there any point to testing again other then for reinsurance? I think what happened in 09 traumatized me. So now I think everyone has this virus I come in contact with. Thanks
You don't specifically state your question in the text of your question but it appears you are wondering if your vertigo and other symptoms might be related to HIV. The answer is no. Your tests were negative following your 2009 exposure and should be believed- they provide definitive evidence that you were not infected. With respect to your more recent receipt of oral sex, I can tell you that there are NO instances in which persons have acquired HIV following receipt of oral sex from an infected person.
The symptoms that you describe are non-specific and have many other possible causes. I see no reason for you to seriously worry about the possibility of having HIV from the exposures that you describe. If you really feel the need to confirm this with a test, I would suggest you test (once) for HIV and commit to believing the test result.
I hope that my comment is helpful. EWH
