Risk of contracting HIV Infection via dry humping without clothes off

Hi doc, I hope you could help me...

My foolish exposure was approximately 3-4 weeks ago, it was with a massage girl in a spa. I did not have intercourse with her. Neither of us give oral sex one to another during that time. However we frottage/dry hump with our clothes off(there was no barrier and unprotected) until finally I come. The position is woman on top, so my penis was squeezed by her lower body part. I come on the upper part of her pubic hair. I'm really sure that there was no insertion or penetration to her vagina, and I did not have any cut, brush or sore in my penis (I'm circumcised since I was a boy). 1 week ago I get diarrhea (in term of loose stool but not frequent), which was heal 3 days lated, mild sore throat, which then developed to productive cough (with sputum) and now start to better with regular cough medication, an ulcer in the tip of my tounge (the ulcer is now heal without medication). I'm really worried, am I contracting HIV based on that symptoms? can HIV transmitted even though there was no insertion, could you please help me doc...

Responding to the title you selected for your question, before reading any of the question itself:  the "Risk of contracting HIV Infection via dry humping without clothes off" is zero. You cannot catch HIV through clothing.

Now I have read the question.  In fact, you had no clothing on -- which is not what the title says.  ("without clothes off" means they were on.  But apparently they weren't.)  But that makes no difference:  no insertive sex = no HIV risk.  Further, it is very unlikely that a woman like your spa partner has HIV.  Your diarrhea and other symptoms do not suggest HIV.  You caught some other virus or bacteria; if the symptoms clear up, don't worry about them; if they continue, see a health care provider.

This event was too low risk to require HIV testing.  However, if you remain nervous despite this reassurance, i.e. if you need to have a negative test result in order to get past your anxieties, feel free to do it.  If you do it, have a single antibody test 6-8 weeks after the exposure.  (This not "code" to suggest I really think there was some risk.  I do  not.)

I hope this helps.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD

You may not post a "continuation of my previous question".  Only a limited number of new questions can be accpeted and superfluous ones block others with new questions.  I deleted your new thread.

You obviously didnn't need HIV testing but did it anyway.  "Non-reactive" means the same thing as negative.

No further comments or discussion.  I won't have anything more to say.

You can't get HIV by contact with breasts.  Even breast milk in HIV infected women isn't a risk.  No penis in vagina or rectum, no HIV risk.  Got it?

Docto, I'm sorry for the typo in the title, the correct one should be dry humping with a clothes off. I also forgeting one detail occurence. What if during the dry hump I suck her breast (she said she do not have any child and therefore no breast milk was involved), will this occurence change your opinion?

Let also say that she is HIV +, will this increase the risk factor for the dry humping that I done?

Thank you for your help
