No, the neurologic symptoms you describe do not bring any STD to mind. You'll have to look elsewhere for an explantion. EWH

Welcome to our Forum. You have asked some specific questions so I will go directly to them:
1. Peripheral neuropathies in persons with HIV occur in people who have had the infection for years and are in the advanced stages of HIV, not in persons who have recently acquired it. Your neuropathic pain is not due to HIV (and you don't have HIV)
2. No. Monoclonal immunoglobulin’s are not a sign of HIV. In your case, my guess is that the protein abnormalities noted on your immunoelectrophoresis are incidental findings, not an indicator that you have HIV.. They are certainly not due to HIV.
3. At 6 weeks the ELISA test for HIV would detect over 95% of infections and with a PCR test performed at the same time, you can be confident that you do not have HIV.
4. You can already be confident that you did not get HIV from your exposure 11 weeks ago. If you repeat the test now or in the future, they will be negative too.
Hope this helps. You do not need to worry. EWH
