Lucky for you that you weren't successful in posting it as a new thread. You would have been out $15.00, without a reply. The notice below is prominently displayed in the forum's Post a Question" link. It is intended precisely for the kind of question you are asking, whose answers are readily available in the archives.

"If you have not done so, please review other threads in our archives and the FAQs for questions similar to yours and Dr. Handsfield's replies. Questions that duplicate other frequent ones, for which abundant replies exist, and that have little educational value for other forum users, will be DELETED WITHOUT RESPONSE. YOUR DONATION WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. The most common examples of such questions are those about low risk exposures to HIV, such as oral sex, hand-to-genital exposure, and nonsexual contact with possibly infected blood or body fluids."
I know I asked a question in my previous comment, but every time I try to post a question, I receive the message that there have been too many questions posted already.
To clarify my previous post, I tested negative at 8 weeks with the Oraquick test. My exposure was unprotected vaginal sex. I have two more weeks until the 12 week time frame. Just need some reassurance.
Do those four small questions apply to unprotected vaginal sex as well?
Let me restate my main point in different words: Since you could not have been infected by the exposure you describe, all your questions about testing are irrelevant. None of the additional information you provide makes any difference in my responses.
Sparkeler is right. Move on.
I think you have an irrational fear of hiv. No one has been infencted in the incident you describe. Your tests are conclusive. I suggest you move on and enjoy life and if you have trouble letting go of not having this disease seek some professional help.
heres a neat little info grahpic i found. Might be useful. The doc can despute if he wishes.

Thank you very very much for your reply, it helps me a lot. I am not going to post and "what ifs" - but this is my last post I will not post anything more at all, so here goes (1) Just wanted to clarify that in my question 4 - I asked if the sample would have been stable by Monday morning when they must have tested it (this is past the 96 hours after collection.) Please let me know. (2) Even if there were vaginal fluids on my hand, does your diagnosis remain the same. (3) Have you seen anyone test postive, after these tests at the weeks they were done after. Sorry for bothering you, even if it is yes/no, let me know about these questions and I will never ever bother you again.
I know you are frightend, but you badly overreacted. You have done everything wrong. There was no HIV risk from the exposure you describe and you didn't need testing. And what a waste to have DNA testing! And people who need more than "just the results", i.e. who want to discuss test interpretation, should see a provider and not make their own decision to be tested and then use a lab or online site without available professional consultation.
To answer your specific questions: 1) Yes. 2) No. 3) No. 4) Of course the website information is valid. Why in heaven's name would a site give misinformation about such things?
Please do not post any follow-up "yes, but" or "what if" questions. There is no additional information you could provide that would change my opinion. Just move on.
