Bumped head 2 days ago, now swollen forehead?

Hello all. 28/F (healthy) About 2 days ago I was playing in the indoor play area w/ my 2 year old and coming down off the "stairs" to meet her at the slide, I went to swing under the cushioned bar and slammed my forehead into it. (OUCH) I didn't pass out, I was fine afterwards, except for being almost instantly tired and a little embarressed. Well yesterday my eyebrow was a little swollen (no black and blue, no bump) - now here I am 2 days after bumping my head and my forehead seems slightly swollen. If I lay on my left side, it feels like my forehead is "droopy" LOL - and I've noticed that I've had a headache ever since I bumped it that comes and goes. My right eye feels "laggy" if that makes any sense. And if I bend down too quick or stand up too fast, I get an even worse headache and feel a little dizzy. I'm also feeling a little nauseated too. Is this normal for a bump on the head? LOL Should I be concerned?

So a day ago I was in the pool doing handstands in the water.  So I went to do a handstand off the stairs. I did it many times before so I wasn't scared.  So anyways I did it then when I was done started to come up but banged my forehead on the step super hard.  I was with a friend so I didn't want to cry. But throughout the day I couldn't even go outside because of the light it hurt because it hurt when I squinted my eyes it hurt my forehead. And today it hurts even worse. But there is nothing to be seen but OH MY LORD it hurts so bad.  There pounding (like a pulse) and when I cry I barely can because it hurts my forehead. And I have hit my head many times before but this time I really think did something wrong. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO...PLEASE

Hi
I would hop into bed after my last breast cancer surgery. I had to stay in bed for 5 to 6 months and when I would move up, I at times would hit my head, probably did this 4 times. Then in two months I became more and more slurrying of words, headache-not bad but enough to annoy me. Then I fell going down stairs and hit my forehead, and fell on my bottom. Went to the ER 3 times 2 CTs, 1 MRI then a craniotomy, now I have so many problems it is unbeliveable. So have it checked and ask if there is any bleeding read up on Chronic Subdural Hematoma. Dont let it get bad like I did. It was my 5th surgery in 20 months. Get to the docs quickly! Find the best Nerologist, and Neurosurgeon.  I had a slow bleed. You have time but go quickly. Blessings,

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability, it is due to the contusion formed. Below the skin there is a common space extending from your forehead to your cheek. Hence if you have a bump on your forehead, the water, blood and chemicals and cells that collect as a result move to lower areas like your eyelids, cheek etc. Some pain is expected. If it is unbearable you can take over the counter pain killers. If you have balancing problems, vision problems, fainting attacks or vomiting, then immediately consult your doctor. Don’t worry! You will soon be your normal self. Take care!

You mentioned headache, dizzy and nausea.  If I were you I will go to ER and get a scan done.  Most likely may be a concussion but to rule out anything serious like slow bleed.  I had a severe headache, nausea and dizziness and found out after 3 days there in fact was bleeding on the brain at 2 places.  After 3 or 4 days I was considered stable and no treatment was necessary.
