Odd Odors

I've hit my head several times and now I seem to always smell odd odors. Mostly like gas smells. And I'm the only one that smells them. I'm not sure if I should worry or not. I just want to know if it's all in my head or not.

How are you?  Most people who develop a smell disorder have recently experienced an illness or an injury. Common triggers are upper respiratory infections and head injuries, as in your case. Among other causes of smell disorders are polyps in the nasal cavities, sinus infections, hormonal disturbances, or dental problems. If it persists or other symptoms arise, have this evaluated further for proper management.
