cranioplasty

my husband suffered brain injury that resulted in a cranio plasty. he now has a prominent indentation above his left temple.  He is just starting to notice it and noticing that people are staring is it possible to get cosmetic surgery to correct that indentation allowing his left side of the head to look like the right side?

Yes cosmetic correction of skull deformity is possible in experienced hands. However whether it can be done in your case or not can be decided by cranio-facial surgeons only. Discuss this with your husband’s surgeon.
