I recently had a EKG done as part of a pre-op for surgery ---prolapsed bladder, and hysterectomy. My physician ordered a stress test by iv. But she said she wasn't concerned about the abnormal results of my EKG. So why would she gave me do a stress test anyway? I have high anxiety and "white coat syndrome" and stress from 5 kids and my upcoming surgery. Could that have a effect in the abnormal reading of the EKG?
