It is difficult to second guess a doctor's judgement, but just based on having had a heart attack doesn't exclude an iondividual from an operation.  If that were the criterion  as a basis for an operation, then heart surgery, etc. would be contraindicated. The doctor may have other reasons concomitant to a heart issue...you should ask!

The best method for determining the best hospitals and medical is from a health professional in your country.  You could contact the Cleveland Clinic by email for more information and may be they could help you.

Thanks for sharing, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Take care,

Ken
