Bigeminy triggered by cold weather

Though I had an successful Atrial Flutter ablation, I still have problems with PACs and PVC. I know they are harmless to a normal structured heart (like mine), but today I experienced something scarily new.

When I got into the pool the water was extremely cold. (and there was a terrible cold wind too). I instantly started shivering. Then I realized I was having lots of PAC (bigeminy). I was wondering if there's anyone else who have already felt something similar?

This scared the **** out of me and every time something like this happens I suffer during weeks asking myself if my arrhythmia is coming back. Oh well.

Thanks so much for your attention.

Hmm.  I do have more PACs and bigeminy episodes in cold weather, but I figured it's because cold weather stresses me out.  Never had this happen with cold water.  In fact, cold water to the face will stop an artial arrhythmia for me most times.

hey sorry to hear that and yes when i get into pool and ts cold my heart does that to not sure way. i wore a 24 hr and it showed i had pac, very few pvc, and my cardio says pac comes from the top part of the heart but are not a problem ,but i guess the flutter is pac because i have flutters most the time not reg pvc beats, does yours feel like a flutter if you have pac. i ve been having a really hard time with mine 5 weeks non-stop getting on my nerves about every fifth beat is a flutter but dr says dont worry yeah right . ok have a great evening hope your pac free.
