Calcium Score Confusion

My calcium score is 400 - with no other indicators of heart disease (normal cholesterol, all blood test results within normal range, normal blood pressure). I am astounded.  No history of heart problems, don't smoke, not overweight.  I'm 58 year old female and from what I've read I have a serious problem.  Is it possible to lower the calcium score?  My physician has ordered a stress test and then we will discuss what to do going forward. Has anyone else had a high calcium score with all other indicators normal?
Thanks.

Yes, me. I volunteered (stupid me) to have one done to get my doctor of my back, asking me to go back on Statins. No Angina, no nothing. My Calcium Score is 1217 - you have a long way to go to get there. I had an Echocardiogram and a Nuclear Stress test done and that's pretty much were it stands right now. You should probably do the same thing, even if only to put your mind at rest. I know everybody - at least in my case - will tell you, you're dead meat, but I can live with that. Although, probably not as long as my cardiologist said I am going to do.

Thanks for your response. Now I know I'm not the only one this has happened to!  Nuclear Stress test scheduled in a few days - we'll see how that goes. From what I've read, the treatment for a high calcium score is diet, exercise and meds - but no data on if you can expect the score to get lower or just not get any higher. I will have plenty of questions for my doctor when we meet to discuss the stress test!
